Entry post kali ni, saya nak bercerita sikit tentang penjagaan kulit. Umur pun dah nak masuk 30, kena lah particular untuk penjagaan kulit. Kalau nak tahu penghasilan kolagen dalam badan pun akan mulai berkurangan start umur 30 tahun ni. How to replace it? kita kena la consume produk-produk yang berkolagen tinggi dalaman dan luaran. Untuk post kalini, saya cerita tentang luaran dulu (skin care product).

Semalam saya sempat singgah di guardian KLCC, after almost 1 hour recce barang2 di Isetan (maklumlah Isetan-sale kan). Singgah untuk beli toner garnier-green apple yang dah habis kat rumah. Then, belek punya belek ternampak pulak brand Nutox ni. After several explaination from the Sales-person, I decided to buy the astringent and moisture emulsion.

Why Nutox?
Actually, I terus jatuh cinta dengan produk ni because of 2 main reason :

1st, because the technology is from Japan (boleh dikatakan Japan product juga lah kan)
2nd, kandungan bird's nest sepertimana yang kita tahu ia mengandungi kolagen yang tinggi.

Antara keluarga yang hadir; Syed and family, Aju and family, Fazmin & wife, Fitri, Ce' Pi, Maslita, Rasha dan Suria.

Kami sampai sebelum 7mlm oleh kerana tempahan lebih awal telah dibuat (thanx to Suria) jadi tidaklah rushing dan seat pun telah direserve kan.

Suggestion untuk berbuka disini datangnya daripada Fazmin & Ayu. Sampai ke puncak Bukit Antarabangsa diorang jalan-jalan cari makan. Tempat ni memang ceruk jugaklah. Wonder how they do the marketing, fullhouse tu. Tapi bagi sesiapa yang nak mencuba bolehlah datang disini. Boleh follow Restoran Hj.Sharin Low di twitter dan juga facebook. Makanan dia, memang banyak..siap boleh 'tapau' bawak balik lagi..
Menu yang telah dipilih oleh Cik Sue kita adalah Daging blackpepper (rasanya la), Talapia steam halia, Butter prawn (dihidangkan dalam mangkuk suun ala-ala bird's nest, first time aku jumpa), Sayur yang digoreng rangup (taktau sayur apa), taufu lembut goreng, sotong masak merah, seafood soup. Untuk desert; bubur jagung, buah-buahan tembikai and epal hijau. Anggaran dalam RM 35++ seorang.

Ok, I'm using it right now and it is doing pretty well actually. it cost about $2 dollars for shipping, it came in a few days and I have been doing good ever since. on my first week I was able to make a big $270 but on the second week I doubled it. it's now rolling along at $300+ a day! Jerome: you have to work and use the computer and internet, and if you can do that and dedicate some time each day then you can do this with no problem.

Need Money Scam: Web Profit Club

Updated - May 2010. Read the FULL REVIEW here including the details on the HIDDEN COSTS of the Web Profit Club - a new "make money online" kit being advertised online.

"Make $17.00 an hour!" the ad screams. Michelle Richardsontells US Dream Jobs that she makes $5000-7000.00 a month with the new Web Profit Club. How? By posting links onlinethat's how! Wow!

Maybe you have seen the same ad on World3News.com? You know the one that says "They are constantly recruiting people to post links, you should try it." There are over 350 positions available just for [your home town]"? And that Web Profit Club is BBB A+ rated?

It's a scam. Sure, Web Profit Club will send you some sort of kit, but there is no way to make money online which makes it easy to earn $17.00 an hour part time with your computer. And then there are the hidden fees. Didn't see those did you? Most of all, nobody pays anyone to simply "post links".

US Dream Jobs is a fake news site which is the popular way to dupe unsuspecting buyers into falling for an online offer. Michelle Richardson is a fake person and the website uses a software trick to make it sound like she lives in your home town. The picture featured in the ad for Web Profit Club was lifted off the internet and has been used for several other ads.

World3News is also a fake news site and advertises the Web Profit Club with an imaginary "mom" known as Kim Barnes.

Next, Richardson and Barnes claim they make $5000 and more a month posting links. Nobody pays anyone for simply "posting links". That is a scam claim which has been around forever; don't fall for it. Also, Richardson and Barnes claim that buyers will make $500 to 1500.00 after they post their first link. This is a bold face lie.

The rest of the article/ad claims that the Web Profit Club only costs $1.98 for shipping and handling. Be careful there because there is a big fat hidden fee tucked away deep in the terms and conditions for sale.
Also, the ad claims that Web Profit Club is "BBB A+ rated". This implies that the Better Business Bureau has given Web Profit Club an A+ rating. I checked the BBB's website and found nothing which validates this claim.

Clicking the Web Profit Club link, visitors are take to a slick sign up site with lots of pretty pictures and claims of "make money online", "work from home" and "paying off debts and bills" and so forth. Visitors to the Web Profit Club are encouraged to sign up to see if they qualify for "membership". Guess what? Everyone is accepted (with a working credit card of course!).

But before we pay, let's check those hidden terms for the secret fees.

First comes the trial period and charges:

By acting today, I will get my first 7 days for just $1.97.

Then comes the big whopper charge a few days later!

By submitting an order, You agree to Web Profit Club, and bill me $69.99 every 30 days until I cancel.

The newer ad on World3News actually has a higher price!

By submitting an order, You agree to Web Profit Club, and bill me$79.99 every 30 days until I cancel

And that is every month until you cancel.

But how can you cancel the Web Profit Club?

He told me he was an agent that weeded out people who were serious about making money online with their company. I was under the impression that it was the Web Profit Club until he told me they had gotten my information from the Web Profit Club. He asked me a few personal questions including if I had any debt or not. When I started to get uncomfortable with his questioning I piped up and asked "is this training free"...well of course NOT. "You have to spend money to make money" was his response. And I told him, "I'm not interested, thanks anyway". I guess I was weeded out! Thanks so much for blogging about this. When I sent email to complain and request refund I received email advising about their terms and conditons, which I met. I have sent seveal emails since then and no response. I never EVER saw another website except the blogsite I was on. I went through several scam alert sites, never saw anything concrete. Unfortunately, I didn't do a quick BBB check.I got popped for $79.99 3 days before I should have been, I had started calling these people early Saturday morning. To the tune of this line is too busy. By today (this morning EARLY) I was getting too busy, then the eternal loop. Started at 52 minutes, went to 48, 37, 54, 38, 45, 34, 40. Did I mention I started at 7 a.m.?In between calling my bank to get my account protected, I sent off two emails to these "wipes". I finally get through at 2:35 this afternoon. And get insulted, told I was stupid, I would receive no credit, and I did get a bit irate. I am calling the Atty. General, and am making sure the banks where I live are aware of these scammers.I finally actually found the "real" supposed site for these punks. I never saw it when signing up. I have received NO "kit", no mail, no email, and no product. They don't care. They got one payment of $79.99 they'll try their darndest to keep. Thank heavens I have a good bank and they won't let me default on my account. ;) Not everyone is so lucky.Did I say....SCAM. Yes, I did. All the way down the line, these folks scam, lie, show bogus testimonials, hound you for even more cash, hide their thieving ways and make you pay for it.Beware!BTW This is the first time I've ever done this. Anonymous said...: I knew this was a scam after I read through it. There's nothing in the Ad that really tells you how you make money. Posting links on the internet? How exactly does that work? Who is sending these checks? lol!! Lots of fake testimonies to sucker you in. I didn't even go to the link. I would love to do a work at home type job, but at least 95% of them on the internet are bogus. Never use your CC on sites like these. The reason why you're not getting through to a person is because it's probably being run by 3-4 guys and that's it. They will probably answer the phones only a few times. They will probably tell you that they will refund your money, but they won't, because the whole thing is a SCAM. Don't waste your time on the phone. Call your bank or cc company and have them reverse the charge. Tell them you never received your product and the business is a scam. Most CC will reverse the charge, especially if you had never done this before. Some CC like AMEX will actually investigate the fraud, and then report them to the BBB and FBI Authorities. Ramadhan datang lagi

Alhamdulillah Ya Allah.. aku masih diberi peluang untuk bertemu dengan Ramadhan. Di bulan yang penuh keberkatan marilah kita memperbanyakkan amal-ibadah. Ibadah yang membawa kepada keberkatan digandakan berbanding bulan-bulan yang lalu. Amalan yang tidak berfaedah ditinggalkan, kalau tak boleh tinggalkan juga.. kurangkanlah..

Realitinya, masih ada yang "dulu,kini dan selamanya" macam tu jugak.. masih tidak berubah, malah makin menjadi-jadi.. mungkin kerana tiada yang menegur.. semakin "besar kepala" sehingga terlupa untuk cermin-cermin diri.. jadi sikap yang bongkak,angkuh dan kata-kata kesat dilemparkan dengan penuh bangga tanpa rasa segan silu dan melihat status diri..

Saya juga masih lagi baru dalam dunia berblogging ini. Seringkali tertanya-tanya bagaimana penulis-penulis blog hebat seperti Irfan Khairi, Hanis Zalikha boleh berblog dengan baik sekali dengan kupasan isu-isu yang menarik. Kedua-dua nama diatas mempunyai daya bahasa mereka yang tersendiri. Irfan Khairi lebih kepada blog dunia perniagaan manakala Hanis Zalikha pula adalah remaja belasan tahun yang berblog dengan bahasanya yang santai dan mencuit hati.

Blog mereka berjaya kerana :

Mampu meraih trafik/pengunjung yang banyak :-yang merupakan asas bagi menarik minat advertiser.
Mempunyai lebih daripada 50 komen/ulasan bagi setiap entry post.
Followers/ Fan yang mencecah ribuan peminat.

Memang jauh berbeza dengan blog saya. :(

Saya dihujani pelbagai soalan daripada kawan-kawan sepejabat untuk lebih tahu dengan lebih lanjut lagi tentang pusat pembelajaran Genius Aulad (setelah terbaca entry post saya berkenaan Nisreen & Genius Aulad yang lepas).

Antara soalan-soalan yang kerap diajukan adalah berkenaan fee structure. Bagi yang ingin tahu dengan lebih terperinci yuran yang dikenakan oleh Genius aulad ini boleh rujuk dibawah:

Registration RM 100 (rate baru utk tahun 2011)
Annual Admission Fee RM 220
Material Fee (1st Term) RM 198
Material Fee (2nd Term) RM 190
Uniform RM 38/ pcs x 2 = RM 76
Mothly Fee RM 238

Jadi jumlah keseluruhan adalah sebanyak RM 1,022 untuk bulan pertama. Manakala, untuk bulan-bulan seterusnya hanyalah RM 238 bagi tiap-tiap bulan..

Alhamdulillah..

26th of June 2010.. my deary sis, Faizah selamat diijabkabulkan dengan pasangannya Mohamad Ezal Abd Razak. Majlis akad nikah berlangsung di Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.

Years back in 2004, there's no such Dewan Akad nikah for the bride. Masa tu, aku akad nikah dalam masjid je.. same goes with Dato' Siti Nurhaliza juga, akad dalam ruangan masjid. Sekarang nie, pihak pengurusan masjid telah menyediakan satu ruangan khas untuk majlis akad nikah (Dewan Akad Nikah) kat sini jugak lah Serina Ridzuawan (anak Chef Wan) buat akad nikah.. hehehe..

Jamuan makan dibuat di Dewan Muslimat, Ground Floor, Masjid Wilayah. Senang, satu tempat je, settled semua. Sangat practical especially bagi those yang limited space kat rumah..

Next day, Sunday, wedding reception berlangsung dengan jayanya di Centrum Hall, Setiawangsa. Zakiah Anas adalah Emcee majlis pada hari tersebut.

Sempat jugak berposing dengan Zakiah Anas..

Diam tak diam, sudah hampir 20 tahun Jaya Jusco Alpha Angle ni bertapak di Wangsa Maju Seksyen 1. Masih ingat lagi masa tahun 90-an dulu, ummi masih di primary school..we (ummi and aunty ica) will walk to Alpha Angle (only within 5minutes walking) from block A3 with uncle Lan n Yadi. Hmm.. sudah hampir 30 tahun atuk Hasan menetap di Seksyen 1 tu yea...

During that time, Alpha Angle nih memang famous-amous..siap ada cinema lagi (can't remember..I think GSC la).. hmm..lagipon masa tuh mana ada KLCC, paling2 kuat pon Ampang Park, Yaohan (sekarang dah tukar nama The Mall).. so, Alpha Angle nih la yg menjadi tumpuan...

Kini...ALpha Angle masih lagi menjadi tumpuan..terutamanya bagi penduduk di sekitar Wangsa Maju ni.. Kalau time Jusco Sale.. memang pack lah.. car-parking melimpah sampai ke bahu jalan.. Antara vendor/boutique yang ada dalam JJ Alpha Angle nih; PONEY, HUSH PUPPIES, LOVELY LACE, MAXIS, MPH, F.O.S, HABIB JEWELS, POH KONG, PADINI, LEVI'S, McD, BIG APPLE, KFC, TEPPANYAKI, THE BODY SHOP dan banyak lagi..

Those yang ada anak umur lingkungan 3-4 tahun, berhati-hati bila lalu depan MPH at Level 1..Dikhuatiri anak anda akan melalak jika tak dapat apa yang diminta sepertimana Hakeem (lihat gambar di bawah)..

tak cukup dengan kereta, nak naik motor pulak.. aduyaii...

Kakak, dah tak heran dengan benda-benda "lagho" nih..

GENIUS AULAD Wangsa Maju

"Ummi..kakak nak sekolah kat situ.." sambil tangan menuding jari ke bangunan berwarna kuning biru everytime bila we all lalu kat area ni. Located next to NZ curry house kat belakang Carrefour Wangsa Maju, membuatkan nisreen selalu memerhatikan bangunan ni. Logo Genius Aulad sebesar-besar banner tu betul2 catchy dan sangat comel. Nisreen yang 5 tahun ni pon boleh kata logo tu gambar kakak dengan adik "hakeem".

From my previous post, I did mentioned that we'll be going to send Nisreen to Genius Aulad when she's 6 yrs old. Tapi melihatkan kakak not happy with her current school, then we decided to send her after the mid-term break.

Bangunan dan fasiliti serba baru, bersih dan selamat..Insya-Allah..

During mid-term semester break, babah dan ummi buat arrangement to meet the principal/teacher. Alhamdulillah, teacher Ima brief us very well.. She touches on the programme syllabus, daily routine and finally tour-de-class room.

"Ummi, kakak suka la Genius Aulad ni.." said Nisreen just after she out from the toilet. (wah..siap buat spot-check and testing lagi anak aku nih..)

Then, apa lagi ummi terus register.Terus dapat school-uniform.

Kakak very excited to wear her new uniform and can't wait to go school on Monday.

After that, we jalan2 at Jusco, Alpha Angle and have our meal at Secret Recipe.

Tengoklah Nisreen's happy faces.. after registering at Genius Aulad..

Perkembangan nisreen selama lima bulan belajar di PASTI, Alhamduillah..boleh dibanggakan. Setakat hari ini, kesemua huruf A-Z dah kenal dan dah boleh eja/baca untuk konsonen huruf "A"
e.g: BACA, RASA, BABA, SAYA.

Untuk Arabic Language plak, dia dah boleh jawab utk komunikasi yang simple : "ما اسمك "" كيف حالك؟"

Setakat hari ini dah hafal 4 surah (Al-Fatihah, 3-Qul : Al-Falaq, An-Nas, Al-ikhlas).

Mengira, boleh la sampai 12.. for both english and malay.

Whilst, mengira untuk Arabic dah boleh daripada Wahid sampailah A'syarah.

Kira-kira 2 minggu sebelum cuti panjang harituh, nisreen ada exam.. A week after, is "OPEN DAY" for the parents to collect the report card.

Dapatlah result form cikgu :

1) Overall percentage is 78% (kalau tak silap)-babah nisreen yang pergi jumpa cikgu.
2) Kedudukan dalam kelas is no.8 .. (ooo, ok..still in the top ten)..then,bila tanya how many pupil is in the class, total 9 pupils. (O.M.G tak pernah lagi ada dalam sejarah ummi dapat 2nd from bottom).
3) Komen from cikgu, Nisreen careless and not focus in the class.

hmm.. kesian juga tengok anak ummi ni, mesti dia not happy in the class. Sejak 5 bulan ni pun, berat badan kakak susut. Everyday memang bawa bekal pegi tadika (because they didn't provide foods for the kids) tapi..ntahlah.. memang obviously berat badan dia turun. Dah sama macam berat badan Hakeem. 26kg.
Lately, kakak punya behaviour pun agak kasar dengan adik, selalu tolak Hakeem sampai jatuh.

Then babah said.. we've got to do something...

Kami tiba seawal 8.30pagi di bumi Langkawi. Sejurus sampai sahaja di terminal saya terus menuju ke kaunter kereta sewa yang terletak berhampiran dengan pintu keluar terminal.
We manage to get special price for the car. It cost us only RM350 for 3 days, Toyota Unser.
Dengan berbekalkan map Langkawi yang kami ada. Maka bermulalah kembara kami di bumi Langkawi ini. It was really fun and enjoyable.

Langkasuka Beach Resort hanya terletak bersebelahan dengan terminal airport Langkawi. Oleh kerana tempahan bilik adalah pada jam 3ptg, we've decided to explore Pekan Kuah first and having our breakfast and lunch before check-in to the hotel.

Jan 2010, genap umur "kakak" 4 tahun 3 bulan. Tapi kalau ikutkan tahun, actually she's 5 years old already. Hmm, memang dah kena masuk tadika dah..next year dah masuk pre-school. Cepat betol masa berlalu. Survey punya survey.. Inilah dia.. Tadika PASTI..

Nak ikutkan kat area Wangsa Melawati nih memang banyak betul taska, tadika and pre-school. pilih jer nak yang mana. Of course lah kita nak yang the best for our kids.. Tapi..nak cari yang betul2 suit and berkenan di hati tuh.. kena betul2 survey and recce lah kan. Kena pulak babah dan ummi bz..bila masa plak nak recce2.. Harapkan website jer lah kalo nk recce.. Before we've decided to choose PASTI, I'd myself..sempat ler jugak buat site analysis to several places as follows:

My observation : Masa I buat site analysis, nih it's already 1pm. Got 2 kids and if I'm not mistaken ada lebih kurang 4 org teacher. Overall area agak kecil..I can say, estimate roughly around 600 sqft jer (the hall + 2 rooms). I tanya the teacher.. Nape sikit jer budak, n she says kalo evening session memang sket jer. dalam 4-5 kids jer.. Kalo pagi ramai ler. Then the teacher gave me the fee structure. Monthly fees is RM300, for registration the fee is around RM1700 including of school uniform (which is T-shirt and short pants), sports pants, socks, and school bag. Semuanya ada printed Smart Reader Kids logo.. Then all the books..etc..Oh yes..one more entertainment fee i.e. concert.. waaah..very secular lor.... The curriculum, they focus more on social communications. They teach your kids singing n dancing etc. They not just sit on the table, they move n playing around..with all the games.
My Conclusion : Tak kena la dengan citarasa I nih.. Babah nisreen strongly emphasis on Islamic Values n teaching. SO, awal-awal reject lah.. Tak dpt imagine plaks cmana si "kakak" kena pakai short pants n t-shirt.. macam tak comel jer.. huhuhuh..

Tapi bila I masuk dalam tengok agak compact laa.. Plus with all the kids (roughly estimate is around 20-30 pupils) I think it's a bit crowded la.. Tambahan pulak nursery nih just at the corner unit of Wangsa Ceria area..agak kecik la..

International Islamic School, Gombak (Subsidiary of IIUM)

Ini lah yang awal2 sekali I survey sebenarnya.
Since nisreen 2 years old, I dah start tengok2 website Islamic School nih..
Dulu berangan2 nak further study, so boleh la hantar "kakak" belajor kt sinih..
Actually School nih adalah dibawah pengurusan UIA juga (kira anak syarikat UIA) laah.
Disamping medium pembelajarannya menggunakan Bahasa Inggeris, dia ajar anak kita swimming (iye..betol..sekolah nih siap ada swimming pool lagi) n disamping tuh anak kita boleh mingle around with all the international kids..(yelah..mana2 lecturer and student master UIA yang ada anak tuh..they send their kids here u know..)
Fee structure.. jangan terperanjat eh.. For one year academic calender (consist of 4 semester). The total fee is RM6,800/year.. WAAH.. Dah sama macam course study ummi masa amek degree dulu...hmm.. nanti dulu lah eh.."kakak"..tunggu ummi jadi teacher kat school tu dulu lah..(maybe leh dapat special price or discounted price for staff)...

Adni Islamic School

Sebelum nih I taktau pon kewujudan sekolah nih, until one day..while waiting for my sista (masa nih dia tengah practical kat TR Hamzah & Yeang Architect) Sebuah firma arkitek terkemuka di Sri Ukay (just before the highland towers punya area).. That time, is already 1pm..n I can see banyak betul kereta2 mewah..tengah tunggu anak2 dia keluar sekolah..
n.. u know what..I'm very impress..why? Becoz yang keluar dari sekolah tu semunya..hmmm.. sejuk perut ibu yang mengandung.. dengan bdk2 lelaki berserban, yang pompuan bertudung..memang kena la dengan moto sekolah ni.. "Let us bring out the elite of your kids"

Go GREEN! Alamak, belek punya belek.. I takda baju casual green rupanya.. Masa MBP announce GREEN concept, I'm full of confident that I'm gonna grab it from my wardrobe. Then, ALAMAK! its all office wear laa.. Nak beli dah tak sempat dah..then, nisreen jerla sempat bergaya dgn baju ala2 green..Alang2 dh tak green..hakeem pon sarung jerla bj biru belang2 dia tuh..hehehe.. kasut dia jela green, anyway.. takpala...lepaskan jela niat utk dpt " BEST DRESS AWARD" hehehe..ada hati jugak tuh..

Awal2 pagi dh bersiap2..phuh.. amannyer rasa..driving in sunday morning..lagi2 kat Federal highway, mana nk dpt suasana aman mcm pagi nih.. Kalau tak..traffic jem memanjang..
Oleh kerana we all memang tak familiar ngan area Shah Alam.. we all cari je trademark Masjid Shah Alam tuh then, cari Kedai Kopi Restaurant..
Sunyi je.. eh.. tak salah tarikh ke nih?..

Suddenly nampak satu mommy nih keluar dr toilet with her toddler n wearing green shirt.(dalam hati.. owh..this must be one of the MBP) and yeah..I just follow behind her..then..tadaaa..
I can see.. so many mommies with their kids and stroller here n there..everywhere the place.. Yeah.. MBP..I'm coming!! Walaupon agak terlewat sampai.. huhuhu..
Sampai2..nak cr port, macam segan jer..coz every mommy dh mingle around..seems like they all already know each other..
me?? owh no.. none of them..except..kak ros (of course la kan) n some of the MBP ambassador..
Just get my muffin n put it on the gazebo.. hmm.. what to do?... owh yup..registration.. but seems the committee is bz handling the kids event..

Well, I can say, the rule of unit trust is:

Bear in mind that this is long term investment; I can say the ideal is within 3-5 yrs
Regular saving (to average down the cost) tak kisahlah monthly or every 4 month(for epf)

So, if you r in all of these cases.. whether you start investing regularly as low as RM200 per month or just leave it n wait another years until you reach the target profit.

This is also En.Zul's account (not the real name). He qualified for RM3k withdrawal from his EPF Account 1. Instead of put all the RM3k in one fund, I'd decided to split the money into two fund purchase (diversify). So, here it is RM1.5k for DALI 1 and RM1.5k for DALI 3 "uuu ooohh? boleh ke?" YES...of course you can, most of the fund needs only RM1k for account opening.

As what u can see from the above chart 18% within 16 month. Equivalent to 15% per annum.

- far much more better from fixed deposit (3% p.a)
- better than ASB (7-8% p.a)
- and of course much more better than u just leave it on your EPF (which they only give you 3-4% per annum)

Chart Analysis :

DALI Equity Theme Fund or formelly known as DALI 3 is a new born baby fund. This fund is launch on April 2008 with a very low price per unit which is 25 cent per unit. As you can see from the above pic; on 28th October 2009 is the bottom of the chart (economic crisis), yes... it was the 10 years cycle. The price drop as low as 17 cent per unit during this time. What u should do during this time? of course, BUY more units.. BUY LOW-SELL HIGH. Theoretically YES, that is the answer but we are a human and not a robot. Sometimes the emotions will killed the rational. We couldn't think rationally, because we had full of emotions, being fear, fear of.. u know the answer better..rite? the fear of "How if the price is getting lower, how if I totally loose all my money, how if I'm going bankruptcy how if.. if... and bla bla.." (hey, come on! this is not OPEN MARKET laa, this is UNIT TRUST; the fund is being managed by the professionals)

Ok then, how do u manage these fears/ emotions? How to overcome that feeling? being afraid if so and so...

My advise;

worse come to worst, if you didn't afford to TOP-UP or buy more units during this time, then u just hold your unit.( u won't loose all your money or being bankrupt-bole potong jari laa.. :P) Dont ever-ever SELL it when the price is low..

As the years goes by, we are heading to the new millenium 2010. January 1st is our anniversary day, and the best part is we are celebrating our 5th anniversary with our 2 little cuties at KL Tower Revolving Restaurant; SRI ANGKASA.. The seat has been pre-reserved 2 weeks earlier. I'm so excited and can't wait to see nisreen n lil hakeem to experience the scenary and being on the top of Kuala Lumpur.

We are having lunch buffet which is start at 11am-3pm.. The menu?.. absolutely AWESOME.. "WoW !! it's awesome ummi" said nisreen. (as usual, the dialogue from her fav channel; ASTRO disney channel). We' ve started with the starter which is consist of breads, sandwiches, mushroom soup, cheese (total of 5 types of cheese), salad, etc. Then, continue with the main course; nasi beriyani, nasi putih, rendang daging, chicken, fish, mee rebus..etc. so many dishes..Then further, the desert; cakes, pudding, biscuits, fruits and last but not least; ICE CREAM the most favourible item for nisreen n lil hakeem. enjoy the pic below

1. Minggu ini kita amat sibuk dengan persidangan. Pada hari Isnin 14 Disember, The International Muslim Academy of Science dibawah Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) telah bersidang di Shah Alam. Ramai saintis Islam dari seluruh dunia mengambil bahagian.

2. Pada 15-16 Disember satu konvensyen dianjur oleh Ramadhan Foundation United Kingdom dibantu oleh Perdana Leadership Foundation untuk membincang "Muslim Unity" (Perpaduan Islam). Ramai ulama dan imam-imam dari 20 negara Islam dan bukan Islam telah hadir.

3. Ulama-ulama ini terdiri daripada pelbagai mazhab termasuklah dari puak Sunni, Syiah, Wahabi. Terdapat juga wakil dari China dan Jepun.

4. Walaupun fahaman Islam mereka berbeza tetapi mereka menunjukkan persaudaraan Islam semasa bersidang dan di luar persidangan.

5. Dalam ucapan-ucapan mereka tekanan diberi kepada persaudaraan dan persahabatan. Perbezaan tafsir dan pendapat, tegas mereka, tidak harus memisahkan orang Islam daripada orang Islam lain.

6. Wakil Arab Saudi berkata pakaian tidak menentukan ke-Islaman. Pakaian Arab adalah kerana budaya Arab dan bukan kerana Islam. Pakaian hijab juga berbeza. Yang utama ialah anutan agama Islam.

7. Ini disokong oleh seorang imam besar Syiah yang mengetuai lebih 500,000 orang Islam di Dearborn, Michigan, Amerika Syarikat.

8. Mereka tidak berhajat untuk menukar kepercayaan dan tafsiran Islam yang berlainan antara mereka. Sebaliknya mereka ingin utamakan persamaan antara mereka sebagai orang Islam.

9. Semua mengutuk perbuatan bunuh-membunuh antara orang Islam di negara-negara tertentu kerana kelainan fahaman dan mazhab.

10. Konvensyen perpaduan yang pertama diadakan di United Kingdom dengan kehadiran ramai ulama-ulama dari negara-negara Islam dan bukan Islam yang mempunyai penduduk Islam yang ramai.

11. Ramadhan Foundation telah pilih Malaysia untuk yang kedua kerana ramai ulama dan orang Islam diseluruh dunia berpendapat Malaysia adalah contoh pembangunan agama dan negara mengikut ajaran Islam. Saya percaya ramai di Malaysia tidak dapat bersetuju. Tetapi inilah yang diperkatakan oleh mereka.

12. Sebagai tuan rumah saya diberi peluang untuk buat ucaptama di kedua-dua persidangan berkenaan tajuk-tajuk yang dibincang.

13. Kehadiran lebih 500 orang termasuk rakyat Malaysia pelbagai agama tidak bergerak. Mereka menuruti perbincangan selama dua hari itu dengan penuh khusyuk.

14. Pada malam akhir tiga buah badan perniagaan dan institusi pelajaran swasta, dua daripadanya bukan Islam telah hulur derma sebanyak RM11,500,000. kepada tabung pelajaran anjuran Ramadhan Foundation. Ahamdulillah.

15. Laporan ini saya buat kerana tidak banyak "coverage" daripada media tempatan.

" tititititititi (alat scanner canggih tersebut berbunyi).. owh this way.." dia terus mengulangi kelakuannya sampai habis lah setiap ceruk rumah dia scan..hahahaha..ala2 CSI agent pon ada.hmm..ni mesti pengaruh DISNEY CHANNEL.. INSPECTOR OSO..Setakat nih dah banyak jugakla phrases yg dipraktikkan oleh si "kakak" nih..antaranya :

Matching Grant for Market Development

Objective

The scheme is to provide a matching grant to assist Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) undertake activities for the development of export markets.

Eligible SMES

To qualify for the Market Development Grant (MDG), Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) must be:

• Incorporated under the Companies Act 1965

• For professional services (such as accountants, engineers and architects), partnerships and sole proprietors are also eligible

• At least 60% equity held by Malaysians

• For manufacturing and agricultural sector, having an annual sales turnover not exceeding RM 25 million (based on the latest financial report) or not more than 150 full-time employees

• For services sector, having an annual sales turnover not exceeding RM 5 million (based on the latest financial report) or not more than 50 full-time employees. (Financial service and tourism sector are not eligible for MDG)

• For trading companies that meet the following additional conditions:

o Having annual sales turnover of between RM 10 million to RM25 million or export sales of at least RM3 million. (Women owned enterprise are exempted from this condition), and

o Exporting Made In Malaysia products especially those manufactured by SMEs, and

o Not more than 20% of the company's annual sales is derived from trading in primary commodities. For description of primary commodities, please refer to Annex A of MDG

Application form.

Note: Status of SME will be checked annually based on financial accounts, EPF Statement, Form 24 and 49. Companies must notify the MDG Secretariat if there are any changes to particulars that affect the status of SME. For detail application criteria, please refer to application form MDG Rev 1/06

Form Of Grant

Companies can obtain a 50% reimbursable matching grant on the approved cost of the eligible activities. The grant is available for one or more of the eligible activities.

Eligible Activities

The followings activities are eligible for MDG:

* Participation in International Trade Fairs

* Participation in Trade And Investment Mission

* Participation in Specialized Marketing Mission

* Participation in In-Store Promotion Overseas

* Participation in Industry and Professional Related International Conferences Overseas

Note (i): For participation in the same International Trade Fairs , and Industry and Professional Related Conference Overseas , companies are eligible to apply for MDG for up to three(3) repeat participation.

For Local International Trade Fairs, Trade and Investment Mission , Specialized Marketing Mission and In Store Promotion there is no limit on repeat participation for MDG.

Note: Trade and Industry Associations and Professional Bodies are eligible to apply for MDG for the expenses of one secretarial staff for participating in overseas trade fairs and missions organized by the Associations and Professional Bodies. Eligible expenses are cost of air fare (economy class), standard hotel room subject to the same limits extended to SMEs.

* Participation in meetings related to negotiations on Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), Free Trade Agreement (FTA), ASEAN, World Trade Organization (WTO) and other market access negotiations by representatives of Trade and Industry Associations and Professional Bodies

* Preparation of Promotional Materials to develop export markets

* Initial cost of setting up office overseas for purpose of:

- promoting exports of Malaysian product and services

- seeking opportunity for outsourcing and subcontracting business

- to undertake market research

- to undertake and monitor implementation of projects and contracts

* Promotional activities undertaken with Hypermarkets and Retail Outlets overseas

* Participation in Overseas International Tenders

* Overseas cost of conducting Export Market Research for the purpose of :-

a. Selecting new markets for new products or existing products

b. Gathering information on existing export market

* For Women Owned Enterprise, additional eligible activities for MDG are:

- Participation in Malaysia Export Exhibition Centre (MEEC) at MATRADE

- Participation in Export Training seminars and workshops held locally.

Definition Of Women Owned Enterprise

For companies 100% owned by Malaysian:

o A woman owns at least 51% of the equity, or

o Biggest shareholder is a woman and she manages the company, or

o Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the company is a woman and owns at least 10% equity

For companies 60% owned by Malaysian:

o A woman owns at least 51% of the local equity and the company is managed by her, or

o Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the company is a woman and owns at least 10% of the local equity

Claimable Expenses

1. Participation in International Trade Fairs

• Participation fee.

• Economy class airfare for one person. Cost does not include items such as visa fees, excess baggage and insurance premium.

• Women Owned Enterprise are eligible for two economy class airfare, with the condition that at least one participant must be a woman participant.

• One hotel room not exceeding RM200 per night for local international trade fairs and RM750 per night for overseas fairs. Payment will cover the duration of the event and two days before or after the event. Women Owned Enterprise are eligible for 2 hotel rooms.

o Rental of standard booth which is limited to: -

- 18 sqm for small products

- 36 sqm for larger products (e.g furniture, machinery equipment), displayed in lifestyle concept or under country pavilion.

• Construction and enhancement of standard booth or shared cost of construction on group basis. Construction and enhancement of booth cost is limited to 50% of the eligible booth rental cost.

• Interpreter services for non-English speaking countries, maximum cost of RM800 for the duration of the international trade fair.

• Shipment of exhibits and promotional materials. Cost does not include items such as import duties, bank guarantee and surcharge.

• For local international trade fair sending of samples and promotional materials is subject to a maximum grant of RM1,000.

• Standard advertisement in trade fair show directory. For local international trade fair subject to maximum grant of RM 250

For claims related to participation in Local International Trade Fair, company must submit a copy of the event report from the fair organizer, which has been certified by an external auditor. The report must certify that the fair has fulfilled the criteria of an international trade fair, as follows:

• minimum space occupied for the fair must be at least 1000 sq meters gross, and

• at least 10% of visitors must be foreign visitors, or

• at least 20% net space is rented to foreign exhibitors, or

• at least 20% of exhibitors are foreign exhibitors.

Note (ii): Companies are not eligible for the grant if 50% of the cost of eligible expenses is already born by the organizer e.g booth rental, airfare and accommodation (package)

2. Participation in Trade and Investment Missions and Specialized Marketing Missions

• Participation fee

• Economy class airfare for one person. Cost does not include items such as visa fees, excess baggage and insurance premium.

• One hotel room not exceeding RM750 per night. Payment will cover the duration of the event and two days before or after the event

Note (iii): Trade and Investment Missions organized to promote exports of Malaysian made products and services by Government Agencies, Trade and Industry Associations and Professional Bodies are eligible for MDG. The trade mission programme must be submitted to MATRADE at least one month before the event for approval of the programme. Once approved, companies participating in the programme must apply for MDG individually and will be subjected to the qualifying criteria for MDG.

3. Participation in In-store Promotion Overseas

• Economy class airfare for one person. Cost does not include items such as visa fees, excess baggage and insurance premium.

• Women Owned Enterprise are eligible for two economy class airfare, with the condition that at least one participant must be a woman participant.

• One hotel room not exceeding RM750 per night for overseas fairs. Payment will cover the duration of the event and two days before or after the event.

• Women entrepreneurs are eligible for 2 hotel rooms.

• Interpreter services for non-English speaking countries, maximum of cost of RM800 for the duration of the promotion.

• Shipment of exhibits and promotional materials.

4. Participation in Industry Related International Conferences Overseas

• Participation or registration fee.

• Economy class airfare for one person. Cost does not include items such as visa fees, excess baggage and insurance premium.

• One hotel room not exceeding RM750 per night. Payment will cover the duration of the conference and two days before or after the conference

5. Participation in meetings related to negotiations on Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), Free Trade Agreement (FTA), ASEAN, World Trade Organization (WTO) and other market access negotiations by representatives of Trade and Industry Associations and Professional Bodies

• Economy class airfare for on person

• One hotel room not exceeding RM750 per night covering the duration of the meeting and two days before or after the meeting.

6. Preparation of Promotional Materials

• Companies are eligible for a maximum grant of RM15,000 for preparation of export promotion materials.

• Cost incurred in relation to the production of promotional materials such as brochures, catalogues, flyers, banners, posters and CD-ROM.

Eligible expenses include:

o For printed materials

o Design concept

o Finished Artwork

o Colour separation

o Printing

o Re-printing (For Trade fairs or Trade mission only)

• Cost incurred in relation to the production of promotional materials such as brochures, catalogues, flyers, banners, posters and CD-ROM.

• Companies must use the services of local printing and CD-ROM companies to benefit from this grant.

• Cost incurred in relation to the production of promotional materials such as brochures, catalogues, flyers, banners, posters and CD-ROM.

• Production of CD ROM and Video can be considered for MDG only if it is part of the company's participation in trade fairs or trade missions.

o Content of text, audio, video, photography, graphic, animation, etc.

o Design

o Development

o Replication and Production CD-ROM packaging

• Companies must use the services of local printing and CD-ROM companies to benefit from this grant.

Note (iv) : Application for the grant must be one month before the printing or production of material. The approval of the claim is subject to the acceptance of the promotional materials by the MDG Approval Committee. Companies that have utilized the maximum grant of RM15,000 prior to 1st Jun 2006 , are not eligible to apply for MDG for this activity.

7. Initial Cost of Setting Up Office Overseas.

• Companies are eligible for a maximum grant of RM50,000 per office set up overseas

• Eligible expenses are:

o Rental of office and;

o Utilities (water/electricity)

8. Promotional activities undertaken with Hypermarkets and Retail Stores Overseas

• Companies are eligible for a maximum grant of RM30,000 per activity.

• Eligible expenses are:

o Listing fee and;

o Joint Advertising and Promotion

Note (vi) : For repeat applications , promotional activities must be in a different hypermarket or retail store . For promotion activities with the same hypermarket or retail store it must be in a different location .

9. Participation in International tenders overseas

• Expenses incurred for purchase of international tender documents for supply of Malaysian products or services.

10. Export Market Research

• Companies are eligible for a maximum grant of RM30,000 per export market study conducted overseas.

• Eligible expenses are:

o Research fees

o Cost of publication of initial report

Note (vii): Application for the grant must be made one month before undertaking the activity. For repeat application, market research must be for a different market, product or services.

11. For Women Owned Enterprise, additional eligible expenses:

• Participation in Malaysia Export Exhibition Center (MEEC)

• Eligible expenses are:

o Participation fees

o Cost of transport of exhibits

o Participation in local Export Training Seminars/ Workshops

MDG Application & Claim Procedure

• Application for the grant is made using the application form MDG Rev 1/06 which is available free of charge at MATRADE or can be downloaded from MATRADE's website: www.matrade.gov.my/exportsupport/mdg.htm. All companies are encourage to apply for MDG at least one month before undertaking the activity . This is to ascertain if the activity is eligible for the grant.

• Claims for reimbursement for all eligible activities must be submitted within 3 months of completion of the activity with the invoices and original receipts or copies certified by External Auditors.

• All application and claim supporting documents that companies must provide when applying for the grant is described in the MDG application form and the checklist attached to the form. Companies are advised to submit all the relevant documents when applying for MDG.

Application for the grant is made using the application form (BPG1/03) which is available free of charge at MATRADE or can be downloaded from MATRADE's website.

How to promote your cupcake bakery

I love to bake as well as sewing and cooking.
Still remember, how me and my sis were busy preparing for the biscuits and cakes for Hari Raya (during our childhood).

I've been meaning to write this post for over a year, and will expand upon it soon (my original draft was over 1,000 words with notes and examples, but I can't find the file). I'll be expanding in future posts with examples of places I think are doing these things well. I've been cupcake blogging since December 2004 and think in an age of so many cupcake bakeries, promotion is especially important. Vital, even.

These suggestions are thus somewhat off the top of my head, but also based on the last 4+ years of observing various cupcake bakeries online and off, and being a customer. My biggest pet peeve is not being able to get the cupcake bakery information I need online. That information shouldn't ever be hidden. No one should have to work to figure out where you're located. You should come up first in a Google search. Little things, but they matter.

Bakery owners/customers, what do you think? What would you add? Bakers, what have you found that works? Customers, what would like to see from your cupcake bakeries?

1. Come up with a name that means something to you, that has a story behind it, is catchy. Do not name your bakery Babycakes or something else that every other bakery is called. Or if you do, have an excellent story to back it up. Make it something people will remember and talk about, and something you can tell the press about.

2. Have a website and only use your own photos. Your website should at the very minimum have your bakery name and address, phone number, email address, hours, menu and photos. Make sure you come up at least in the first page, ideally, first, in a Google search for your bakery. Ask yourself what you like to see on the company websites you visit and offer that on your site. Give customers something interesting to see. Don't assume your customers are only local and thus know what town you're in or where you're located. Never forget the Internet is global and that someone may be wanting to order your cupcakes for a local friend or family member, or may be traveling to your town. Update often. Make it a must-read, cultivate die-hard fans (see: Blake Lively).

3. Offer a newsletter with mouth-watering photos (especially of your new/seasonal/limited edition/specialty cupcakes), coupons and specials. Give customer something extra. Tell them about your upcoming events, give them a reason to come back in, whether they were just there yesterday or haven't been in months.

4. Get on Flickr. Flickr isn't about advertising, but community. Share and learn from other bakers and cupcake fans. Offer visuals of your cupcakes as they are actually sold, not just pretty promo photos. Tag your photos in as many ways as applicable (not just "cupcake," but flavor, city, bakery name, anything else that fits). Join groups, dozens of them, that are about cupcakes, baking, dessert, food, your city, and add your photos to them. The more people who see your photos, the better. You never know when someone looking for just the flavor you're offering may stumble upon it, or a media source, or a potential customer.

5. Get on Twitter, Facebook, and other social networking sites. Don't just join and say, "Okay, I'm on there," but seek out your customers, make it worthwhile for them to join you there. Offer them web-only discounts, engage with them not just about your business practices, but what you're up to. Give them a behind-the-scenes look at what you're doing. Have fun with it.

6. Update your cupcake offerings. Do a flavor of the month or week. Use seasonal flavors. Do something that will make people both want to get your newsletter and return to your bakery. Create holiday-themed cupcakes, celebrity-themed cupcakes, pop culture cupcakes, locally-sourced cupcakes. Create a signature cupcake with a story behind it, one only you could make. Have a must-try cupcake that is your favorite. Experiment.

7. Take the time to create a personal, cool bakery logo. Plaster it all over, on your site(s), on your storefront, on your merchandise, on your cupcake wrappers if applicable.

8. Get to know your customers. Ask for their suggestions. Crowdsource, both in the store with a suggestion box, talking to customers, and online. Hold a contest asking for new flavors or suggestions. Make your customers feel a part of your bakery.

9. Blog. Yes, I'm biased because I love both reading bakery blogs and using them as sources for this blog. But still, blogging is an excellent way to give more information than you'd have room for elsewhere, to build a following, pay tribute to the other bakeries and chefs you like, share information about the kinds of products or even the brands you use, share last-minute news and sales, profile your customers, talk about pet causes, whatever. A blog is whatever you want to make it. There are bakery blogs that give the scoop on everything from the literal building of the bakery through its opening to those that share daily flavors to ones with news links and beyond. Blogs help brand your bakery and personalize it. They give fans something to check out when they're not eating your cupcakes.

10. Innovate. Try new things, online and off. See what works and what doesn't. Be a leader.

DAY 02: Trip with AVANZA

We had our breakfast at 8.30 a.m. Janji dengan Pak Ketut (our driver) is on 9.00 a.m. So sempatlah lagi spend about half an hour for our breakfast. Nisreen breakfast with cornflakes cereal .... and hakeem with his botol susu.... huhuhu

Our jurney began.. We ride on Avanza (nisreen n hakeem enjoy their travel very much as they are familiar with it.. huhuhu). Our first destination will be Gunung Batur, daerah Kintamani. It tooks about 2 hour to reach there (said Pak Ketut). On our way to Kintamani, we manage to come across the "Batik" and "Silver" making at Celuk area.

After that we stop at Ubud, where we can find very fine wood carvings and made of high-quality wooden from Kalimantan, Java and Bali itself.

Then we continue our destination to "Goa Gajah". This is also a temple of hinduism believers. Outside the temple area, there's a lot of market selling souvenirs and handicrafts

Then, we arrive at Kintamani area at 1.30 p.m. Picture below is the view of Gunung Batur (an active volcano in Bali). The Kintamani is a highland area where you can find "kabus" in some places.

very nice view huh..

unluckily, the camera's battery is exhausted. So, we didn't manage to capture the beauty of Gunung Batur, Kintamani..

Then we continue to the peak of Kintamani area...
Biasanya para pengunjung will having their lunch sambil menikmati pemandangan indah Gunung Batur. The cost for having lunch here is around Rp80,000-Rp150,000 (RM28-RM50) satu kepala (lunch buffet). Tapi survey dulu sebelum masuk yea.. Becoz ada sesetengahnya yang menyajikan Sate Babi...

We continue the journey dengan melawati "kebun kopi".. Best sgt view kat sini (sori, xleh nk capture photo-bateri camera dh habis time nih) Apa yg menarik kat sini. Kita bukan sahaja boleh tengok pokok kopi, tapi ada beberapa tanaman yang lain seperti koko dan salak. Yang bestnyer dalam kebun nih siapa ada gazebo dan lengkap dengan minuman kopi dan koko "gratis".. hehehe..
Dan.. yang special kat sinih adalah "kopi luak" yang mana harga secawan (kecil) adalah sebanyak Rp100,000 (RM 35) fuuhh..kalah coffee bean nih.. Nisreen n hakeem really enjoy kat sinih.. Mana taknye, dgn udaranya yg segar, pokok menghijau dan ada juga binatang2 dlm sangkar seperti; keluang (tau x keluang nih apa? bukan keluang-man tauuu), parrot, burung kakak tua dan juga ayam hutan.. Xpayah pg zoo dah..hihihi

Then, we continue to PURA THIRTA dan PURA EMPUL...Menurut kepercayan Hindu-Bali ni, mereka akan berhajat sebelum mandi ke dalam kolam daripada air-mata-air supaya apa yg dihajatkan akan termakbul. Kawasan nih memang besar dan cantek.. Nasib baiklah ada photographer on-site..So that, we manage to get one snap which cost us Rp 20,000 (RM 7) per pcs. Boleh laa...drp xda gambo langsung kann.. And on the side of this PURA there's located the palace (Sukarnoe's Tapak Siring) of Sukarnoe (president of the republic of Indonesia).
Kat pintu keluar kawasan nih, hmmm banyak sgt kedai-kedai menjual brg2 cenderahati...

Jam menunjukkan kul 6ptg..Pak Ketut mencadangkan untuk singgah di Kebun Monyet, di Ubud. Memandangkan 2 org budak kecik nih pon dah tetido kat dalam keta..We've decided to go back to hotel je laa..

Kertha Gosa-Located 40km northeast of Denpasar, Kertha Gosa or Hall of Justice was built in the 18th century at the town of Klungkung. It is well known for its ceiling intricate murals depicting elaborate punishments for evildoers, and the heaven for those who have lived a righteous life.

Museum Bali-Located along Jalan Let. Kol Wisjnu 8, on the eastern side of the historic Puputan Square in Denpasar, Museum of Bali is built by the Dutch in 1932. Then, yesterday we manage to set an appointment with Dr. Hisham @ Klinik KITA, W.Maju (my favourite doctor.. he is very friendly yet informative doctor..- itupun yang sepatutnya kann..kalau tak jangan jadikan doktor sebagai profesion anda ye..)

As been informed by Dr. Hisham, simptom-simptom awal jangkitan H1N1 nih adalah seperti berikut:

Demam panas yang melampau
Sakit kepala yang melampau
Sakit tekak (sore throat)

Jika ada simptom2 tersebut, cepat dapatkan rawatan doktor..

As of today, virus ini telah menular ke lebih 400 orang di Malaysia.. ha???.. takuuuut... jangkitan tempatan dan juga jangkitan import khususnya from Melbourne.. Bandar yg paling tinggi penularan virus ini.

Bali pon byk tourist..aduss nak buek camno nih??.. As a prevention, Dr.Hisham menasihatkan untuk:

jauhi dari tempat yang crowded (bersesak-sesak)- (need to think twice kalau nak ke pekan or market Bali nanti)
using face mask
using private transport (nasib baiklah dah charter satu avanza kat sana nanti..)
banyakkan ambil Vitamin C sepanjang tarvelling nanti
ambil injection INFLUENZA (yang nih.macam xdapek je..sebab kat Klinik KITA pon dah out of stock, govt hospital pon lacking of stock..diorang akan prioritize those frontliner i.e; pegawai2 kastam, doctors, nurses, military even kat Ampang Puteri pon they have Q-list untuk sesiapa yg nak amek injection nih..)
tawakkal dan berhati-hati..

Demam transformers...

23th June 2009..tayangan pertama di TGV KLCC telah berlangsung.. Aku nih bukannya kaki wayang..tapi disebabkan dah follow TRANSFORMERS 1 dulu.. pergilah tengok TRANSFORMERS 2 ni plaks.. Lagipon dah lama tak tengok wayang..Last tengok pon masa nisreen umur 1 setengah tahun rasanyer.. kat TGV One Utama..Masa tuh baru 10 minit kt dalam panggung nisreen dah byk bunyi....terpaksalah keluar panggung.. cancel tengok wayang..

On that Friday, after kejer..terus prepare apa2 yang patut n gerak ke KLCC.. Cadangnyer, nak beli tiket wayang for the next day; saturday.. Then, masa sampai kat sana dapat pulak tiket, the earliest is on 10.30pm. so, apalagi.. LAYANNN..

Masa tengah berpusu2 nak Q masuk..hakeem dah tak selesa..bersesak2..sekejap nak dukung..sekejap nak turun.. fuh..letih dibuatnya.. Then,

Masuk CINEMA 4.. Nisreen cuak..sebab gelap..masa tuh nampak skrin hitam jer (sebab belum mula lagi) nisreen nyorok bawah seat, takut tengok skrin besar yang gelap tuu... adusss... malu ummi dan babah dibuatnyer..

Then, bila movie dh start,barulah dia nampak the exact "big screen" n suddenly.... "ummi..tengok.. tv besar!!" dengan suaranya yg nyaring dan lantang tuh.... aku pon cepat2 tutup mulut dia..nasib baik dah gelap.. kalu tak malu jugak..org musti pandang slack jer kt kitorg nanti..hehe.. sepanjang tayangan berlangsung, seems like nisreen really enjoy the movie..while hakeem sibuk melayan popcorn nyer.. langsung takder nafsu nk tengok screen tuh..

hmm.. movie habis kul 1.30 pagi.. tahan juga si nisreen nih melayan transformers.. si hakeem kul 12.30 dah mula melentok.. tido.. sampai umah dah kul 2pagi.. esok saturday..tak kerja.. okla sekali-sekala tengok midnite.. hehehe..lepas nih.. apa ek?.. ICE AGE 3??? maybe...yes..maybe NOT.. huhuhuhu...

keletah nisreen dan hakeem di luar panggung..sementara menunggu ja, 10.30 malam.

I've mentioned on my previous entry, whether to go to Kuta or Legian on my coming vacation to Bali.. Well, most of people said that all part of Bali is really interesting and is a good place to go.. Denpasar, Seminyak, Legian, Nusa Dua, Kuta, Ubud..a lots of places to go.. and most of the people would keep visiting Bali, because .. 3 or 4 days is not enough for you to explore the beauty and serenity of Bali..

After taking all the consideration and opportunity that I have, I've decided to explore and staying at Kuta (the heart of Bali). At first, I was thinking of staying at "the oasis, kuta" but somehow, I'd choose to stay at "idahotel, kuta".

Kajian Akses Audit untuk Pengguna Kurang Upaya telah hampir siap sepenuhnya. Perjumpaan kali ini diadakan di Awana Golf & Country Club, Genting Highlands.

Satu-satunya wakil daripada team Kuching Waterfront, saya sendiri. Oleh kerana Researcher, Dr.Ruzita tidak dapat hadir kerana ada temujanji susulan kesihatan beliau.

Our Research Officer, En.Ardi Herman Mohd Mardzi pula terpaksa menghadiri jemputan/ undangan sebagai emcee di sebuah majlis perkahwinan rakan beliau.

Pemandangan di Awana Resort, Genting Highlands

Kali ini terdapat kelainan pada perjumpaan kerana diadakan di sebuah resort dan boleh membawa bersama-sama family tercinta. Jadi sementara saya sibuk dengan diskusi dan perbincangan untuk research di Dewan Kedidi.. Bolehlah suami saya membawa anak-anak bermain slide di wading pool.

Perbincangan berlangsung dengan lancar. Rumusan yang dapat dibuat, hasil daripada kajian ini sebuah buku akan diterbitkan dimana ianya akan mempunyai 2 versi : versi B.Melayu dan versi B.Inggeris. Selain daripada penerbitan buku ini juga, satu panduan/ guideline akan diterbitkan untuk digunapakai oleh Pihak Berkuasa Tempatan amnya, dan Pihak DBKL khususnya.

Tidak sabar rasanya menunggu buku dan guideline ini untuk diterbitkan. Amat berbesar hati kerana dapat menyumbang sebahagian daripadanya. Till then..

Setelah mengharungi 2008 yang sungguh mencabar, kini kaunter-kaunter bursa menunjukkan peluang yang positif.
Terima Kasih kepada investor-investor saya yang sungguh tabah dan sabar dalam mengharungi zaman kemelesetan 2008 dan masih lagi "hold their unit".
Manakan tidak those investor yang dah invest since early 2008..harga jatuh menjunam sehingga 50% pada akhir tahun 2008.

Tahniah for those yang berjaya membuat regular investment during the downtrend graph.

Sedikit summary untuk DALI 3. Opening price is 25sen per unit. On October to December 2008 harga menjunam sehingga 17 sen seunit.
Sekarang, May 2009 harga mulai kembali stabil ke 20sen per unit.

For those yang telah membeli unit pada awal Januari 2009 telah menyaksikan kadar pulangan yang tinggi iaitu hampi 10%..hanya dalam masa tidak sampai 2 bulan.

Tetapi those yang xsempat/lupa/tak berpeluang untuk menambah unit diantara bulan October 2008 - Februari 2009, tidak mengapa..Masih belum terlambat untuk "average down" the cost dengan cara menambah unit pegangan anda sementara harga masih rendah berbanding harga pembukaan dulu, iaitu 26sen per unit (including management cost)

Seni..memang diakui jiwaku penuh dengan minat seni yang mendalam..
Seni..sangat luas untuk ditakrifkan..jika diperhalusi, segala-galanya dari celik mata hingga pejam..semuanya berkait-rapat dengan seni..samaada kita sedar, atau tidak akan kehadirannya.
Seni..membezakan individu itu teliti atau tidak..

One word yang "adik" dah pandai sebut sekarang nih ialah "babah".. Suka babah dia..anak lelaki dia dah pandai sebut babah..

Dan sekarang..adik dah pandai nak buli kakak..Tapi kakak ni pon kekadang ada jer yang nak menyakat adik..Every toys yang adik pegang, kakak mesti nak rampas..

And nak dijadikan cerita..semalam adik tengah pegang sudu ngan cawan..Minum air pakai sudu..And suddenly kakak cuba nak grab the spoon from adik.. (Adik ni pulak kalau pegang barang or something, memang kuat dia grip..sampaikan aku sendiri pon xleh nak buka dia punya grip tuh).. Kakak nak amek sudu..adik pon dah riuh..n spontaneously adik terus gigit tangan kakak..

Apalagi meraunglah kakak...

Nasib baik..adik x gigit sekuat hati.. Kalau tak alamatnyer lebam lah..tangan kakak nih..

scene 1 @ kitchen : tengah nak masak ayam goreng kunyit..nisreen pon sebok nak menolong umminyer memasak kat dapur..tolong ambil itu dan ini..n masa aku tengah menggaul ayam dengan kunyit kat mangkuk tuh suddenly dia tanya.."ummi masak apa tu ummi?" n aku pon menjawab dengan spontan nyer.."masak kunyit.."yela..maybe aku pon jawab dengan nada yang kurang jelas..dia tanya balik? "ha?! masak monyet?"....berdekah2 aku ketawa..dia pon gelak sama..sambil tersipu2 malu..
scene 2 @ in the car at Jalan Ampang : ninoninonino...bunyi siren kereta polis..ascort Agong nak jalan..babah dia pon cakap lah kat nisreen.."ha kakak, tengok tuh..Agong nak lalu" kakak pon, "apa bah?..tengok jagung?"..eh apa daaa jagung..
scene 3 @ Jusco, Alpha Angle : kejadian ni baru berlaku semalam.. aku pg toilet nak terkucil..si kakak pon nak ikut gaks..sampai kat toilet, aku suruh kakak tunggu kat luar cubicle toilet tuh.."kakak tunggu kat sinih tau..." jawab si kakak, "ha..ummi jaga2 tau..nanti jatuh..licin.." dia plaks yg bagi nasihat kat aku...makcik cleaner kt situh pon siap kata.."amboi..."

..hai anak aku sorang..nih..itu lah gelagat dia..xkering gusi dibuatnya...

Yesterday...
Tak ketinggalan untuk mengikuti slot "Jangan Tidur Lagi@TV3" dihoskan oleh Adlin Aman Ramli. Biasanya jarang follow, tapi smlm special sket sebab.. Dato' Siti Nurhaliza adalah diantara panel jemputan..

Hmm..idola???..not really... tapi kagum dengan semangat dan pencapaian dia (which is a year older than me..but very successfull).Imagine..just doing what she like ..I mean, singing..and she can be a millionaires plus awards and everything...Tapi memang suara dia betul2 ber"hantu" laa.. sukeee dengar..lunak merdu dan sebagainya laa.and kelakar bila Dato' Siti asyik tersasul.. panggil Adlin dgn nama "Afdlin"...xhabis2 kena sakat jer..
Dan yang paling interesting utk slot "Jangan Tidur Lagi" semalam..ada preview from Dato' Mohd Fadzilah Kamsah..and the topic is "Kerana Mulut Badan Binasa"..
Dato' Fadzilah pon..memang my favourite motivator..He is very up-to-date person and relevant. Disamping menyebarkan dakwahnya dia ada juga menyelit scientific terms, modern n relevant to our scenarios nowadays..

Kitorang buat satu barisan panjang (lebih kurang dalam 20 orang semuanya) Dan cikgu bagi satu mesej..dan we all have to pass the message dengan cara berbisik ke telinga kawan sebelah-menyebelah..Alah..kacang kan??.. Senang nyer game.nih..Tak mencabar langsung kann..

Tapi..jangan tak percaya..

Mesej yang diterima pada orang yang ke-20 adalah totally different daripada mesej asal/ sebenar..

Jadi.. sebagai pengajaran..jangan lah dengar cakap2 orang tengah nih..ataupun..kita sebagai orang tengah..tak perlu menokok tambah cerita dengan memberi perisa "ajinomoto" sana sinih.. kann...

Entahlaa..sedar xsedar dah 13 tahun meninggalkan alam persekolahan..
Tetiba teringat pulak kisah masa sekolah dulu.. hmm..memori yang xdapat dilupakan..
dari sekolah rendah..UPSR (tewas dengan Adzratul-my best buddy, where I just got 3A 1B for the result)..PMR (tewas dgn Yuliana-the most genius buddy in my classmate, where I just got 7A 1B for the result)..then, further study to boarding school..yea..Penang..Sains Tun Syed Sheh Shahabuddin or people call it soksek..

The most precious moment in my life..continue with matriculation at P.J..then UIA Gombak..
Now..I'm here..sitting in front of my laptop surrounded with my two lovely cuties.. n wishing that all my journey will go smoothly without any hectic, hanky-panky sort of things and anything that can just menyemak jer kat dalam kepala hotak nih..

Maybe I'm far from God rite now..
Kalau dulu boleh pegi kuliah subuh, maghrib everyday..n al-ma'thurat weekly..
Barulah mendapat ketenangan dari-Nya..
Now I'm busy with everything ..hingga lupa untuk berzikir kepada-Nya..

Yup..I should change first..
No need to pin-point others for what has happened..

Tetiba teringin pulak nak gi tengok2/ jenjalan kat Pasar Tani Mega anjuran Ministry of Agriculture nih.. Dah lama dah plan nak dtg sinih..tp xberkesempatan plaks..Maklumlah sunday morning..paham2 jer laa..

Okla..not bad.. macam2 ada.. Boleh dikatakan peniaga semuanya melayu except satu chinese couple yang menjual kain2 cadar, langsir dan tuala.

Total semua ada laa dlm lingkungan 30-40 canopy..Maca,2 ada..dari barang2 dapur..Sayur2 segar.. Daging, ikan, udang..sotong..dan byk2 lagi.. N makanan pulak.. memang banyak.. dari waffle cake, sweet corn, bun, kuih-muih tradisional sampai;ah ke kerepek2..

Hmm... okla.. boleh dijadikan aktiviti di hujung minggu..
After that, kitorang pegi breakfast kat Sri Rampai area (ada restoran mamak baru) facing the Sri Jasmin Apartment..
Berdua jer.. anak2 kat umah..thanks to my granny... :)
tetibe terserempak plaks ngan my hubby nyer member.. "oooo berdating dua org eh ??!!"..

Udang harimau..besau2 tuuuu..
Prawn Fishing ni open 24hours.. N sambutan semalam.. nampak memberangsangkan. insya- allah.. a new hope for Centermart..

My gratitude to Mr. Leong (asst. secretary)..

Thanx..for his effort to track back all the SPV 5 owner.

Lama juga bersembang dengan Mr. Leong ; which is also the owner of SPV 5, Mantin, Kolej Legenda, Negeri Sembilan. Info terkini yang diberitahu ialah, baru semalam (Ahad 29 Mac 2009) satu mesyuarat telah diadakan bagi melantik ahli bertindak blok SPV 5 dan juga bagi merealisasikan penubuhan Joint Management Body untuk SPV 5 ini.

Mesyuarat yang berlangsung semalam hanya dapat mengumpulkan lebih kurang 10% pemilik SPV 5. Dan terdapat beberapa unit (lebih kurang 5-10 unit) dimiliki oleh satu pemilik syarikat. Penubuhan JMB ini juga adalah requirement oleh pihak Majlis..bertujuan untuk mengeluarkan strata title.

Next meeting will be on this coming 19th April. Bagus juga..selama ni xpernah berkenal-kenalan dengan para pemilik SPV 5 ini.. At last..ada juga effort untuk penubuhan JMB nih..

boring kann..

last weekends bz attending weddings..Sabtu n ahad..both.. very exhausting..
CENTERMART..still kena pegi jugak..lagipon yesterday was the final singing competition which is Ramli Sarip becomes the jury..

and yesterday, all the Food Court tenants moved out.. So, total drp 6 tenant..tinggal 3 jer..hmm...apa nak jadi..dunno what to say..
Nak salahkan centermart..pon iye jugak..becoz lack of promotion..tenant pulak..don't have passion ..at least give some time .. 5-6 month..before decided to move out..tul tak??

Last Saturday.. attend Azizi Ali seminar at ATIC exhibition yang berlangsung selama 2 hari di KLCC "Kuala Lumpur Convention Center". Slot untuk Azizi Ali start at 10am-11am..

Parking RM7 per entry..dah naik..last time (tahun lepas..during SPNB dinner) baru RM 5 per entry..hmm..inflasi ..mcm nie laa...another 5 more years nanti xtau lah cmner kan..

Sampai kat Exhibition Hall tuh disambut oleh ATIC-event punya staff dan teros dibawa masuk ke Seminar Hall Azizi Ali.. Masa tengah jalan tuh..dia siap mentioned lagik.. "full house"..sampai ada yg kena berdiri..

"it's ok..for me, lagipon xpernah jumpa Azizi Ali live kan...sajer nk tengok orangnyer yg kecik molek tuh...hihihi"

sampai kt Seminar Hall tuh..mak datuk..memang penuh..bersesak2..(apsal laa.diorang bagi Hall kecik nih kt Azizi Ali..) Then, aku pon berdiri sama...eventhough masa tuh..baru lewat 10 minit...it's ok laa..next time..shud come early..

never ever lend your money to other people..sebab benda tu adalah burden yang paling berat untuk ditanggung..worst come to worst, u bagi jerla duit kat "dia"berapa yang termampu..so, both are happy..u feel happy becoz manage to help those yang memerlukan pertolongan dan disamping tuh x terbeban dengan hutang yang perlu dikutip..u get what i mean...

Kuta or Legian?

Has anybody been to Bali?

Well, actually tengah confius nih..whether to stay in Kuta beach or Legian beach..

Planning, memang nak gi Bali for our next family vacation..

Last week dah survey tempat..dah berkenan kat Ida Hotel, Kuta, Bali...Tapi bila nak booking, xder plaks suite or triple bed room.. Yang ada cuma standard room, standard bungalow and deluxe bungalow..(pelik gak..takkan la satu banglo hanya ada satu bilik je kan?) this is according to the EzyHoliday,KL nyer management laa..hmmph.. try to contact ida hotel through email..tapi no reply laaa...

Then, pagi nih EzyHoliday call and mentioned several hotels yang provide triple bedroom or extra bed room which is located at Legian Beach..

Hmm....Legian ok ke? ..ntahlah..need to surf and search for the info..

Memang kalau kita tengok kat map pon..Kuta and Legian is just side by side..

N as mentioned by the EzyHoliday management also, the Legian beach is nearer to the city center (Denpasar) compared to Kuta..

Tapi, kalau nak ikutkan tempat yang happening (5-star hotels) is located at the southern part of Bali which is the surrounding of Nusa Dua...

aduss...poning laa....

Kalau CENTERMART pon orang tak kneal..apatah lagi kiosk I nih yang duduk dibawah bumbung CNTERMART.. So, buat permulaan nih, kiosk 56 : CRUNCHY WAFFLE n SWEET CORN nih membuat promosi percuma 500ml mineral water bagi setiap pembelian bernilai RM5 (i.e: waffle + corn in cup).. promosi bermula dari 14hb Februari 2009 dan berlangsung sementara stok masih ada.. So, kepada pembaca blog nih..sila-silalah datang ke kiosk 56 dan dapatkan mineral PERCUMA ini..ok

Stall 59- Istana Budaya

Located just behind the outdoor stage of Istana Budaya fronting the "Balai Seni Lukis Negara"...

There it is ..my stall..

antara menu yg dijual : A&W Root Beer Float, Scoop Ice-Cream, Moist Choc Cake, Cheese Cake, Muffin and... the very kiut-miut cupcakes (tribute from almond delight ..thanx chepz, syukri n p-nut)..

Seawal 7.30pg dah sampai stall...Malam sebelum tuh dah loading semua brg2 pegi ke stall no. 68 ..tup tup tukar pulak pagi nih ke stall no 59 plaks..

Kelam kabut dibuatnyer..mana nak arrange brg2 brooch lagi..stok lagi..n nak decorate stall.. Kul 10 dah nk start meniaga..

Disebabkan malam tadi pon kul 2pagi br smpai umah..letih sgt sampai lupa nk charge bateri handphone..Pagi nih, handphone xleh nak "ON" pulak..

alamatnyer tawakkal jer lah..(cadangnyer awal2 pagi nak contact chepoi)

Settlekan apa2 yg patut.. dah kul 9.00 pg chepoi..x sampai2 lagi..

Kol dia..br nak gerak dari Seremban.. ??##$%^ sempat ker? nak sampai sebelum kul 10pg??...aduss..tawakkal jer la.. (Kesian chepz & Syukri..satu malam x tido rupanyer dok menyiapkan cupcakes nih)..

Tapi cupcakes nih memang cute n cantek..sampai customer yg nak beli pon..tak tau nak pilih..rambang mata..

Disebabkan I x bwk camera harituh I amekla gambo dr almond delight nih.. (boleh kan chepoi..)..

On Monday (2nd day a.k.a last day for this carnival) almost 20% lagi cupcakes masih belum terjual.. Mana kan tidak hujan dengan angin kuat.. dari petang (around 2pm) sampailah ke malam..

Dalam kul 10mlm tuh Shafie Apdal dijemput untuk acara penutup..On his way back to car parking area.. dia lalu depan stall I nie.. tau la kan follower dia pon punya la ramai... habis semua cupcakes nih diorang borong.. alhamdulillah.. finally.. habis jugak I nyer jualan nih..ehehe...

Masa carnival nih memang ramai artist..Nak sebut pon..hmm..memang ramai giler laa..linda-onn pon buka stall nasi ayam dia.. Sempat jugak I berposing ngan linda Onn n Julia Ziegler kat depan stall I nih..tp xberkesempatan lagi nk upload gambo..sebab it's with my sista..tengokla..next entry laa..

Karnival "DOA BUATMU PALESTINE"

Jom kita beramai-ramai datang ke karnival nie bagi memeriahkan lagi suasana..sambil tuh boleh menderma untuk tabung Palestine..

Jangan lupa datang ke booth saya..ada jual pelbagai jenis cupcake + muffin..n another booth partnered with my collegue; ada jual tudung "iekin"..

Artist-artist tanahair pon ada buka booth untuk lelong pakaian diorang..

Dengar kata Dato' Siti Nurhaliza n Mawie pon ada datang untuk buat persembahan...

Jadi, datang jangan xdatang eh..

It has been a while since my last entry..Busy sikit, nak set-up kedai kat Centermart, Jalan Genting Klang.. Nak upload gambar kiosk ..tak berkesempatan lagi..Lagipun kedai x tip-top lagik..banyak aksesori yg perlu ditambah untuk menceriakan lagi suasana kiosk tuh..nanti2 lah ...

Hari ni renovation utk floor tiles n counter top dah 100% completed..so, malam ni boleh masuk all the stuff n machines..

EKONOMI Malaysia dijangka melantun kukuh pada 2010 selepas terpaksa mengharungi impak sebenar krisis kewangan global sepanjang tahun ini, kata Manu Bhaskaran, pakar ekonomi di Centennial Group berpangkalan di Singapura.

Bagaimanapun, katanya, negara tetap tidak dapat mengelak daripada impak jangka pendek krisis kewangan global pada separuh pertama 2009 berikutan Malaysia, seperti negara perdagangan lain, amat terdedah kepada ekonomi dunia yang memberikan kesan berganda kepada ekonomi tempatan.

“Apa yang akan saya nyatakan di sini bukan bertujuan untuk menakutkan anda, tetapi Malaysia akan `luka’ teruk tahun ini.
“Pada separuh pertama tahun ini kita akan melihat lebih banyak berita buruk pada peringkat global, pasaran akan merudum, manakala semua enjin pertumbuhan utama dunia akan mengalami kelembapan... ia bakal menjadi kelembapan paling buruk selepas Perang Dunia Kedua. “Sungguhpun begitu, saya menjangka Malaysia dapat mengelak daripada tergelincir ke dalam kemelesetan ekonomi, dalam jangka terdekat, susulan pengurusan wajar ekonominya,” katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika membentangkan kertas kerja bertajuk `Krisis Global: Mengharungi Masa Sukar’ pada perbincangan ekonomi semasa anjuran Hong Leong Bank dan The Edge di Kuala Lumpur , semalam.

Manu berkata, langkah positif yang diambil tiga ekonomi utama dunia seperti pakej stimulasi ekonomi hanya akan menampakkan kesannya dalam jangka agak panjang.

“Kami menjangkakan ekonomi global akan memantul semula pada 2010, dan berdasarkan kesan berganda, ekonomi Asia akan melantun semula dengan lebih kukuh lagi,” katanya sambil menambah kelembapan ekonomi Asia disebabkan faktor kitaran dan bukannya struktural. Beliau menegaskan, semua negara Asia seharusnya bersedia mulai sekarang untuk merampas peluang jangka panjang daripada krisis kewangan semasa ini, seperti membangunkan enjin ekonomi domestik baru dan meningkatkan integrasi serantau.

Ditanya sama ada sekarang adalah masa sesuai untuk melabur dalam pasaran ekuiti tempatan berikutan harga yang rendah, Manu berkata:

“Bagi mereka yang mempunyai tunai dan bersedia berenggang dengannya untuk dua atau tiga tahun, ia dilihat sebagai waktu yang sesuai.

“Namun, saya berpendapat akan berlakunya kejatuhan harga lanjutan di pasaran saham dalam satu atau dua bulan lagi. Pasaran dijangka mencecah paras dasar pada suku kedua tahun ini. Sesiapa yang mempunyai banyak tunai, dia adalah raja,” katanya.

Kalau ada waffle..ada la sweet corn (corn in cup)....lagi complete..siap dgn soft drinks or ice cream..kann..

Banyak cara boleh dipelbagaikan utk makan waffle nih..
Ada yg letak strawberry..peanut butter, honey, chocolate paste..etc

Selain daripada tuh..mcamana lagi nak menginnovate waffle nih yer.. any IDEA..guys..??

Tetiba plaks waffle nih..apa cherita nih...???

How to become very rich in Malaysia

Connections and the ability to flip assets can get you going places

If you have ever wondered how to get rich in Malaysia – fabulously rich and very quickly at that – here’s a model that you might want to look at very closely. Not easy to do but if you do have a couple of projects in the bag, it will set you up for several lifetimes.

First you need connections – strong ones, the higher the better and if it goes right up to the top all the better. You need this because you need to convince the powers that be that your projects are good.

But you might ask if your projects are so good, why do you need connections? Why don’t you just go out and execute? Good questions, those. Here’s the answer - you need the state to give you something to do the deal that will help the nation.

Still can’t figure it out? See, it’s like this. You want to help the country, right? The country needs say a port. But you can’t build a port just like that. You need land to build a port. You tell the state or federal government you need land – cheap land, preferably free to build the port.

Or to take another example, you want to help the country by building a power plant. But look, you need land too and not only that you need the power to be sold. So you want an agreement – an iron-clad one to sell the power to Tenaga Nasional and to pass through all costs.

You see, that’s your reward as an entrepreneur – you get someone else to build the power plant, they guarantee the performance of the plant and someone else guarantees to buy your power and pay for all your costs.
Nice deal? You bet. Billionaires have been made that way.

you may want to start an air hub. If you are persuasive enough, you can even convince the government to compulsorily acquire the land and sell it to you cheap. Once you have cheap land, lucrative contracts and concession agreements, the sky’s the limit.

Let’s take it a step further. If you want to realise the value of all of these things that you have and still keep control of them, it’s nice to have a listed company into which you can inject them.

Inject one asset for shares and you gain control of the company.
And then inject others over the years for cash, taking the money out of the company. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too?

Do it right and get a flow of assets to inject in (you can do anything with discounted cash flow valuations – just change the discount rate, and presto, the value changes!), and you get a tidy flow of profits and cash into your personal accounts over the years. I mean a really tidy flow.
Just how much can you make this way, you ask? Why don’t you take a guess first? Did you say RM500mil? Guess again. RM1bil? How about five times that and you may be getting into the right order of magnitude.

One Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar Albukhary actually made some RM4.5bil that way - actually more because he still controls the listed company.

We are not saying he is the only one, which makes your chances of joining the ranks better – if you are connected to high places that is.
But then again, if things change – and that’s still a big ‘if’ – you might not find it so easy anymore.

Oleh kerana tak bawak camera..terpaksalah minta jasa baik kawan utk a few snapshot...hihihi..(sib baik ada Saiful..thanx..)

Dila yang tengah control "ayu"..hehe...Puteri Hang Li Po lah katakan..

Dah habis tu, pegi la jalan2 kat bandar melaka jap..siap tengok eye-on-Malacca..n singgah tesco jap (fuh..ramai betol org Melaka kat Tesco nih..) after that terus gi Pengkalan Balak..to see Mak Lang..

Sampai kat Pengkalan Balak dalam lebih kurang kol 5ptg..makan..makan..rehat..sambil view the scenary..memang cantek sgt..angin sepoi2 bahasa..siap ada banana boat etc..ikan bakar..memang banyak jugak..(xperlu lah sampai nak pegi ke Umbai..)

After maghrib, bertolak balik to KL...

Seems like both hakeem n nisreen enjoy the journey very much.. alhamdulillah x banyak ragam budak2 tuh.. n of course..my granny..seems like she enjoy herself very much.. semua enjoy.. cuma my hubby a bit tired..yelah driving..
